a little about me / 关于我的一点点

I was born and raised in Xi'an, China. In case you don't know where that is, the Terracotta Warriors are located there. I graduated from Chapman with a film BFA and am currently pursuing an MA in Communication Management at USC, trying to find a path into film.

I found my passion for filmmaking at a very young age. Ever since high school, I have written and directed several short films. My inspirations come from daily life and the people around me. I always strive to tell a simple story about people from a different point of view. Most stories I have were developed from an image in my head or a moment, and that moment makes me want to write a whole story for that.

I hold the belief that movies reflect life, yet life itself is beyond a movie.

我本科从道奇电影电影学院毕业，现在南加大学习传媒并且努力成为一名电影人。

小时候，我以为电影中的一切都是真实的。如果我在两部电影中看到同一个演员，而他在其中一部电影中受伤了，而另一部中没有，我会认为他确实受伤了，并且是在后来拍摄的那部电影中，尽管事实可能并非如此。

我的灵感大都来源日常生活，我会随时带着相机，遇到有趣的画面都会拍下来积累素材。我还在不断的成长和努力，希望自己可以一直做电影。
